Drum Kits

Specializing purely in second hand kits means we can offer you a much higher quality than the equivalent new kits! All of our drums are fully serviced and tuned by us meaning they're ready to be bashed as soon as you get them home! We also stock brand new and second hand Electronic Drum Kits.

Bass Guitars

We specialise mainly in Bass Guitars below £500, we keep classic copies of the infamous J and P basses along with some more unique designs from brands such as Aria, Cort, Yamaha, Bass Collection and more!

Amplification

We stock amplifiers for Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Vocals and Electro Acoustic instruments, suitable for both home practice and some bigger models for the gigging musician. We can offer you our expert advice to help find the right amp with the right features that suits your needs best.

Second Hand Instruments

We like to make sure that all guitars go to a loving home. For this reason, we buy in and part exchange these instruments. Feel free to send us an email with some pictures and details about the instrument you're looking to sell and we'll see how we can help. Alternatively if you're looking for a used instrument at a bargain price we often have lots of items in store ready to go.

Folk Instruments

Although it's not our speciality we do keep a good range of folk instruments in stock such as Ukuleles, Harmonicas, Mandolins, Banjolele's, 5 string Banjo's and Tenor Banjo's. We also keep accessories for these instruments such as strings, straps and sheet music.

Effects Pedals

Here at S&B we love our pedals, we keep an excellent range of effects from brands such as MXR, Digitech, DOD, Mooer, Blackstar, Ashdown and the locally made Longshot pedals. Feel free to pop in and give them a try. We can also offer you our expertise in finding the right pedal for the tone you've been searching for!

Brass & Woodwind

We stock good quality student instruments such as Clarinets, Flutes, Trumpets, Alto and Tenor Saxophones and occasionally pre-owned instruments of higher quality at very reasonable prices.

Everything you could possibly need here at S&B, we keep a wide range of essential accessories for all of the instruments that we sell such as Guitar Strings, Drum Sticks, Reeds, Guitar Parts, Cables, Straps and String Winders. We keep a good range of tuition books and song books for instruments such as Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Keyboard, Ukulele, Banjo, Mandolin, Recorder, pretty much for any instrument that we sell! We also keep exam books by the leading exam boards such as ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall, LCM and RGT
